Wealthtech Pioneer Neo Group Secures ₹350 Crore Injection from Peak XV Partners to Drive Multi-Corridor Wealth Innovation
What is the news?
Mumbai-based wealth and asset management powerhouse Neo Group has officially finalized definitive agreements to raise a substantial ₹350 crore in a fresh capital round. The strategic investment was spearheaded by existing backer Peak XV Partners, cementing their long-term conviction in the company’s institutional advisory model. This fresh capital injection closely follows a massive ₹550 crore funding round secured from TVS Capital, solidifying Neo Group’s balance sheet with nearly ₹900 crore raised.
Why is it interesting?
Founded in 2021 by pioneering Indian-origin founders Nitin Jain (former CEO of Edelweiss Wealth Management) and Hemant Daga, Neo Group has enjoyed a meteoric rise within the financial services ecosystem. The firm provides world-class wealth management, asset management, and complex investment advisory infrastructure to institutional clients, ultra-high-net-worth families, and family offices. As of mid-2026, the firm’s total managed client portfolio has surged to ₹1.3 lakh crore ($13.5 billion), backed by an expansive team of over 850 professionals across more than 30 Indian cities and an expanding international corridor in the United States.
According to Chairman and Managing Director Nitin Jain, the fresh capital runway will be deployed to accelerate talent acquisition, scale the company’s underlying tech stack, and architect next-generation alternative investment products including private credit, infrastructure, and private equity strategies. By continuously servicing both domestic wealth creators and global Indian diaspora investors, Neo Group is effectively validating India’s transformation from a mere consumer market into a world-class knowledge hub building sophisticated global financial systems.
