Nexus Venture Partners Leads $12 Million Series A+ Round in Quick-Commerce Construction Startup HomeRun

What is the news?

HomeRun, a fast-growing quick-commerce platform specializing in construction and interior materials, has successfully raised $12 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. The funding round also witnessed continued support from existing investors including Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital, and Consumer Collective by Atrium. Following a $6.6 million fundraise earlier in the year, the fresh influx of capital will enable HomeRun to expand into new regional and international markets, fortify its supply chain logistics, and enhance its product suite.

Why is it interesting?

Founded by serial entrepreneur Pukhraj Grewal who previously co-founded interior contracting platform Tornado and construction labor marketplace Project Hero HomeRun addresses critical inefficiencies in traditional construction procurement. By promising 60-minute deliveries of essential building materials such as cement, plywood, wiring, paints, and hardware, the platform serves both commercial contractors and individual homeowners. To date, HomeRun has fulfilled over 100,000 orders while recording an 8X growth trajectory over the past year.

The investment underscores growing venture capital momentum in digitizing heavy supply chains and trade networks. As part of the Global Indian Alpha narrative, HomeRun demonstrates how Indian origin founders within the founders community are solving legacy infrastructure challenges through technology-first operational models.
