CARPL.ai Secures $10 Million Series A Led by IFC to Expand Global Medical Imaging AI Platform

What is the news?

CARPL.ai, an enterprise medical imaging AI platform founded in 2018 by Vidur Mahajan, has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and other undisclosed strategic investors also participated in the round. This follows a $6 million seed round raised in 2023, bringing the startup’s total funding to $16 million.

Why is it interesting?

The platform functions as a unified marketplace and deployment infrastructure, allowing radiologists and hospital networks to discover, test, integrate, and monitor over 300 clinical AI applications from more than 100 vendors. CARPL.ai currently powers radiology workflows across 30 major hospital groups in North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Latin America including key partners such as the Singapore Government, RadNet, and I-MED Radiology.

The fresh investment will be utilized to strengthen CARPL.ai’s engineering stack, accelerate product development, and expand its international sales and delivery teams as the company continues to establish India as a core hub for global healthcare technology innovation.
