What is the news?

Bengaluru-based medical technology startup Ayati Devices has successfully raised ₹15 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by venture capital firm Inflexor Ventures. Founded in 2019 by Nishant Kathpal and incubated at IIT Bombay’s Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), the startup develops portable, point-of-care diagnostic devices designed to detect diabetic foot complications and peripheral vascular disease at an early stage, reducing the risk of severe complications and amputations.

Why is it interesting?

The fresh infusion of capital will be strategically directed toward expanding the company’s footprint across domestic and international markets, strengthening its manufacturing capabilities, and accelerating investments in research and artificial intelligence. Ayati Devices has built a robust product suite including Vibrasense, Vasosense, Angiocam, and its pay-per-test PODIA Trolley model bringing comprehensive microcirculation, blood flow, neuropathy, and plantar pressure assessments together on a unified diagnostic platform.

Ayati Devices has already marked a substantial global presence, deploying over 10,000 devices across 30 countries and enabling more than 1 million patient screenings to date. The startup’s rapid traction and clinical validation underscore the growing strength of the Indian founders community in building globally competitive, deep-tech healthcare solutions that deliver tangible impact worldwide.
