Indian spacetech startup TakeMe2Space secures Rs 5.5 crore pre-seed funding to launch MOI-1, India’s first space-based AI laboratory.

Why is this exciting?

  • Founded in 2024 by Ronak Kumar Samantray, the company has already completed two successful missions with ISRO’s POEM platform, validating their radiation shielding technology and AI deployment capabilities.
  • The 17-member team will use this funding from Seafund, Blume Ventures, and others to expand satellite subsystems across India, Australia, and Europe, serving 15+ early customers running orbital applications.
  • “This investment reflects our team’s dedication and the impact we’re making in the space tech industry,” says Ronak Kumar Samantray, founder and CEO, TakeMe2Space, who aims to double revenues within 12 months.
