Deep Tech Startup Yaanendriya Secures ₹15 Crore Seed Funding Led by Piper Serica for Global Expansion of Autonomous Navigation Systems

What is the news?

Bengaluru-based deep tech pioneer Yaanendriya has raised ₹15 Crore in a seed funding round led by venture capital firm Piper Serica. Co-founded in February 2025 by Vamshi Bharadwaj M V, Vyshak Y, Vijay HP, and Aravind Thumbur, the company develops state-of-the-art indigenous sensor, navigation, and control hardware platforms designed for robotics, defense, space exploration, and commercial industries.

Why is it interesting?

The newly infused capital will be directed toward strengthening core research and development, expanding its high-precision inertial navigation portfolio, and accelerating production of high-precision MEMS inertial sensors specifically engineered for the growing NewSpace ecosystem. Yaanendriya’s flagship SynCore navigation controllers allow unmanned aerial, ground, and underwater vehicles to reliably sense motion and maintain precise trajectory control in GPS/GNSS-denied or heavily disrupted operational environments.

Demonstrating the global impact of Indian-origin innovation, Yaanendriya’s YDX series of high-precision inertial sensors is already deployed across four continents in applications ranging from motion capture in gaming to surgical robotics and autonomous vehicles. The startup’s success underscores India’s growing reputation as a global knowledge hub for complex hardware and deep-tech engineering solutions built for mission-critical applications worldwide.
