Neuron Energy Secures ₹31 Crore in Pre-Series B Funding to Scale EV Battery Manufacturing and Initiate Global Market Expansion

Neuron Energy, the Mumbai-headquartered manufacturer of EV batteries, has successfully raised ₹31 crore (approximately $3.5 million) in a Pre-Series B funding round. The investment was co-led by Equanimity Ventures and the Rajiv Dadlani Group, with strong participation from several prominent family offices.

This funding marks a pivotal moment for the company, affirming the vision of the Indian origin founders, including CEO Pratik Kamdar, to industrialize world-class battery manufacturing in India.

The newly raised capital is strategically allocated to significantly boost Neuron Energy’s manufacturing capacity to 3 GWh and establish a new, fully automated production facility in Pune, focusing on batteries for electric four-wheelers and buses.

Critically, the investment will also be used to accelerate domestic growth and, more importantly, broaden its footprint in international markets. Neuron Energy’s focus on innovative lithium-ion and next-generation sodium-ion solutions positions the founders community at the forefront of the global electric mobility shift, delivering reliable, high-performance batteries at scale.
