Bessemer Venture Partners Leads $6.7 Million Funding Round in AI-Powered Travel Tech Startup 30 Sundays

What is the news?

Travel technology platform 30 Sundays has announced a successful $6.7 million funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, alongside participation from existing investors Info Edge Ventures and Eximius. Co-founded in 2024 by Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj Punjani, the Gurugram-headquartered company specializes in personalized romantic and honeymoon travel packages powered by generative AI. The fresh infusion of capital follows an earlier $770,000 seed raise and will be used to advance product capabilities, strengthen core tech infrastructure, and accelerate international expansion.

Why is it interesting?

The platform leverages AI agents across its end-to-end sales and operations pipeline spanning customer qualification, automated itinerary design, follow-ups, and booking reservations. According to the company, this full-stack AI integration has resulted in a two-fold improvement in sales productivity while handling an annualized Gross Booking Value (GBV) run rate of approximately ₹200 crore across key Asian destinations like Bali, Vietnam, the Maldives, and Thailand.

Looking forward, 30 Sundays is scaling its global footprint. Following recent entries into New Zealand and Mauritius, the company plans to establish operations in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines, exemplifying how Indian founders are building high-growth, AI-first solutions for global markets.
