Deeptech Pioneers Solinas Integrity Secure $5.5M to Scale AI & Robotics Solutions Globally

IIT Madras-incubated climate deeptech and robotics company Solinas Integrity has announced the successful completion of a $5.5 million (₹48 crore) Series A1 funding round. Co-led by Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures and Mela Ventures, the round saw follow-on investments from SBI Ventures, Rainmatter, 8X Ventures, and Luthra Group. Founded by Indian-origin entrepreneurs Divanshu Kumar and Moinak Banerjee, Solinas is redefining how cities and industrial complexes maintain vital underground utility networks.
Why is it interesting?
The startup manufactures proprietary robotic systems integrated with AI analytics to detect pipeline defects, map subsurface water/wastewater networks, and perform automated cleaning. By automating pipeline management, Solinas directly addresses water contamination and loss while removing hazardous manual entry from human sanitation practices. The platform has already gained commercial traction across 30 cities in India and international deployments including Dubai Municipality.
With this capital infusion, Solinas plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities, enhance its generative AI software platforms, and scale operations internationally across the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Additionally, the company is adapting its technology stack to serve adjacent high-reliability industries such as oil & gas and defense, targeting ₹100 crore in annual recurring revenue by FY28.
